CANNONBALL ORGANISERS WANT BIKES

The organisers of the annual Cannonball and Snowball Runs have decided that there is room for two-wheelers in their 2012 events and invite motorcyclists keen to join the fun to enter the 2012 Cannoball Run on Saturday January 07.

The runs are non-competitive, fun-based events aimed at offering enthusiats (up until now car-based) the chance to join their fellows for a bit of organised (and completely legal) fun.

Last year's Cannonball Run attracted 175 vehile entries and over 600 people and now, due to interest from those in the two-wheel community - organisers have opened the Auckland-based Saturday 07 January event up to bikes and bikers with a specific class and dedicated prize packs.

Organiser Nic Scott says he would like to see riders enter teams of 2-4 bikes as the more people involved, the more fun you have.
